I listened to Carl Maria von Weber's Clarinet Concerto No. 1 in F Minor, Op. 73 driving home for UCO in Edmond, Oklahoma as an undergraduate in my car. Although I was a performance major and saxophone was my main instrument (still is), I was inspired to get my Masters in clarinet thereafter. So, what follows is a short clip from that concerto from my masters clarinet recital at OCU in 1998, as well as the only songs I wrote and recorded containing clarinet. I am extremely grateful for my college professors who inspired and encouraged me. Thank you.
